Originally, steel beams were fitted by using lindapter bolts and rivets, which had to be put in fixed positions via drilled holes. With time the necessity for flexible systems increased and this obliged constructors to start using clamps and other fixings, which were flexible. Clamps are put in channels where they fit it, bases or supports where the equipment will be installed are formed.
High friction joints that come with the clamps system have superior friction which prevents them from moving regardless of the pressure that is subjected to them. Some of them come with swivel joints, which help the engineer to change the direction. The clamps can be dismantled or installed easily and this makes them great for people who carry out regular maintenance tasks. Clamps can also be recycled making it possible to save some of your money. Two girders can also be installed together without creating much of a fuss compared to other systems.
